Kolkata I Study Centres
The Kolkata study center serves as the headquarters of RSIGST and is a hub of advanced geospatial research and training. Situated in the heart of the city, this center offers access to state-of-the-art laboratories, classrooms, and a knowledge resource center equipped with the latest tools and software for GIS, remote sensing, and data analysis.
Key features include:
- University Recognition/Affiliation: As a recognised CCPTR centre of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), Govt of West Bengal, the PG Diploma Courses (1 Year) courses of RSIGST are being recognised and certified by the MAKAUT university.
- Academic Programs: Offers certificate courses, diplomas, and specialized training aligned with industry requirements.
- Research Focus: Covers diverse topics like urban planning, climate change, disaster management, and geospatial applications for sustainable development.
- Collaboration: Partners with government agencies, industries, and international institutions to undertake impactful projects.

Siliguri I Study Centres
Located at the gateway to northeast India, the Siliguri study center focuses on geospatial research tailored to the region's geographical and ecological complexities. The center acts as a bridge between the northeastern states and the rest of India, addressing pressing regional challenges.

- University Recognition/Affiliation: RSIGST conducts one PG Diploma Course (1 Year) in its Siliguri Centre at the venue of Surya Sen Mahavidyalaya and this course is being recognised and certified by the University of North Bengal, Govt of West Bengal.
- Academic Programs: Offers certificate courses, diplomas, and specialized training aligned with industry requirements.
